Helping Houston’s Heroes

The Houston Fire Department has been working around the clock to rescue our neighbors, tend to medical emergencies and generally taking care of our citizens.  Through generous donations of the public The Firefighters Foundation of Houston --- – was able to purchase three Zodiac Rescue Boats which proved essential over the past few days to rescue so many people.  Our Foundation exist solely to raise funds that are used to purchase much-needed life-saving equipment such as these boats.  It is up to all of us to help the brave men and women of the Houston Fire Department in their everyday rescues.  Please make a donation today in any amount to help this effort.  Ninety-five cents of every dollar given goes to directly to purchase the equipment that just might save your life or that of a loved one or neighbor.

Welcome to The Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston

Welcome to the Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston.  The FFFH is the first of its kind to provide non- governmental funding for the purchase of life-saving equipment needed everyday by the Houston Fire Department.

Ever-increasing demands on the city of Houston's budget have not allowed funding to adequately fund more than the essentials for the department.  The FFFH was founded in 2006 to bridge this gap.  Funds raised by the foundation go directly to purchase equipment needed by the department and with an extremely low overhead, nearly every dollar raised is used to purchase equipment that just might save your life, the life of a family member or that of a neighbor.

For more than 150 years we have depended on these brave men and women--our first responders--to protect us and to save it is up to use to "have their backs" as we do our part to help them and the ones they help.

The FFFH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is the first of its kind to provide equipment for the Fire Department.  We exist only to provide the best tools, technology and equipment for our fire fighters.

A big THANK YOU to all of our sponosr for our fall fund-raising events including Houston City Council Member Brenda Stardig, AT&T, Civic Entertainment, Chevron, KBR, Apache, Silver Eagle Distributing, Landmark Restaurants, Kelsey Seybold, Cigna, Lyondellbasell, Linebarger, Krogers, Comcast, Darryl and Jade Carter, United Airlines and many more.  With the funds rasied we will be able to purchase rescue boats and so much more.

Won't you help too?  Your donations are tax deductible and you can be helping to save lives too.

 Thank you,
